Writing locked itself into Carolina Valdez’s life when she composed her first stories at the age of eight. She chose a career path in nursing, and realization that she was also a writer came only after she’d made her first sale.

This award-winning author is multi-published in fiction and nonfiction, and is a member of the Published Author Network and Orange County, California chapters of Romance Writers of America (RWA/PAN). These days Valdez concentrates on contemporary, dark fantasy, time travel, and historical tales of hot romance. Suspense often crops up in her stories, no doubt the result of her affiliation with Sisters in Crime.

A voracious reader, she also enjoys taking walks, writing, her family, and friends.

She and her husband reside in southern California.
